Travel Group

 During the last year we had various speakers at our meetings. We've heard about their travels in Iceland, Nepal, Greece and Stewart Island to name a few. We've also had 2 trips to Akaroa recently. One trip included The House and Garden Tour and the other The Mail Run.

Our next speaker is a friend of one of our members and will talk to us about her recent river cruise on the Danube.  We are also planning a trip later in the year to The Culverden Fete and Art in the Garden Show.

Our calendar always includes a Lunch at Christmas time and usually mid year as well. 

 End of Year Report
We have enjoyed talks about a wide range of destinations from sailing in Tahiti to cruising on the Danube, to a road trip in North America and Canada and a girls week in Bangkok.  A small group of members travelled to The Christmas Fete in Waipara and Art in a Garden and a trip to the zoo is planned for mid November.
