Material has been supplied by U3A Online, Australia for some of our courses. There is provision for independent on-line courses of numerous topics and we will add further study groups if there is interest and a leader.

There will be two series of lectures as detailed below. They will be run in the Lounge at St Martins Presbyterian Church starting at 10am.
From Local to Global Village (4 lectures) (click title link for more information) This series will be run on consecutive Mondays in May i.e. 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th
Extraordinary New Zealanders in World Wars 1 & 2 (5 lectures) (click title link for more information) In this series we look at the outstanding and unique contributions of five lesser-known Kiwis in the world wars. This series will be run on consecutive Fridays in August i.e. 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th
Writing Life Stories 1st Monday

Botany (for enthusiastic gardeners) 3rd Wednesday
2:00pm - 4:00pm Venue: Various
We are a group of enthusiastic amateur gardeners who enjoy discussing anything gardening. We choose a topic e.g. roses and everyone does a bit of research, then at our meeting we discuss what we have found and share our expertise. We also organise outings to visit gardens and places of interest.
Currently we have a waiting list to join the group.
