The Art Appreciation Group is dedicated to the arts in all forms and enjoys visits to exhibitions, installations and displays around Christchurch and the local region. New outings are arranged each month followed by coffee at a nearby cafe for discussion and socialising.
Outings are usually held on the second Friday afternoon, with dates and times subject to change based on gallery opening hours, exhibition and event schedules.

This group will differ from the Art Appreciation Group in that its focus will be on exploring various artists’ history, work and techniques through member research, workshops and visits to local art exhibitions.
Membership: Limited to 10 members
Location: 1 Sunvale Terrace, Cashmere
Initially, the group will be open to those on the Art Appreciation Group waiting list and to
new members of Port Hills U3A.
